Meet the Staff

Owner/Groomer - Jenna

I started in the grooming industry at just 14 years old, and I’ve now been grooming for nearly 20 years. Over the years, I’ve volunteered with various animal rescues and have developed a special passion for adopting hospice dogs. At home, life is full with 3 dogs, 4 cats, and 5 wonderful kids. In my free time, I love photography, reading, crafting, and traveling with my family for adventures and dance trips. Grooming has been a lifelong calling for me, and I’m grateful every day to do what I love.

Groomer - Shelly

I started in the grooming industry seven years ago and have had the pleasure of working alongside Jenna throughout my career. At home, I have three cats and a golden retriever who keep life entertaining. In my free time, I love playing video games, sewing, spending time at the lake, hiking, camping, and traveling with my fiancé. I grew up with Pomeranians, so they’ve become one of my absolute favorite breeds to groom.

Groomer - Becca

I started in the grooming industry at 19 and quickly fell in love with the work. Outside of grooming, I enjoy road trips, snowboarding, crafting, reading, and spending time with my two cats. I’m also completely obsessed with my baby nephew. My goal with every appointment is to give each dog the best experience possible making them feel comfortable, cared for, and pampered.

Groomer - Allison

I’ve been working in the pet industry for three years and grooming for two, and I absolutely love what I do. I share my home with two cats—Levi and Louie—and a pit bull terrier named Luna (better known as Tuna), who can usually be found snoozing behind my table at the shop. Last year, my fiancé and I added Hazel, a mastiff mix, to our family, and we’ll soon be welcoming a poodle puppy as well. When I’m not working, I enjoy training with Tuna for trials and competing in rally, Fast CAT, and other dog sports. I also love crafting, reading, and spending time with friends and family. Working at Sit Stay Spa has been such a joy, and I can’t wait to meet your pets!

Groomer - Shelby

I’ve been grooming dogs on and off for the past 12 years. These days, I work full‑time at NDSU, but you’ll still find me at the salon on Wednesday evenings and a couple of weekends each month—getting my grooming fix! When I’m not working, I’m usually cheering on one of my three kids at their sporting events or tending to my garden. I also love tackling house projects and getting lost in a good book. And when I need some fresh air, I head out with my German Wirehair Pointer for a little hunting adventure.

Groomer - Kyliegh

I joined the team shortly after turning 20 and instantly fell in love with the work. At home, I’m surrounded by my little crew: Tiabeanie the cat, LuLu the husky, and Rooster the super‑mutt. When I’m not at the spa, I’m usually crafting, babysitting my niece, taking the pups out for walks and fetch sessions, or scooping up the occasional stray in need of help. I actually rescued Roo and his eight littermates while I was still learning the ropes here. Every pet has their own quirks and personality, and I always do my best to adjust my approach to make each one feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

Front Desk - Millie

I’ve been working the front desk for about three years, and I love being the friendly face that welcomes our clients. Outside of Sit Stay Spa, I’m an engineer with a passion for photography, which I also pursue as a side gig. Life at home is wonderfully full with my two dogs—a husky and a corgi—and my two kiddos, ages 1 and 8. In my free time, I enjoy photography, baking, traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. Working at Sit Stay Spa has been incredibly therapeutic, and I truly wouldn’t change a thing.

Front Desk - Lilly

I’m a junior in high school and have been part of the Sit Stay Spa team here for a couple of years now. I work as a front desk assistant, greeting clients and helping keep everything running smoothly. When I’m not up front, you can usually find me in the back bathing dogs and making sure our furry visitors feel their best. Outside of work, I’m involved in theater, dance, and choir, and I’m planning to pursue astrophysics in college. I love exploring both the arts and the sciences, and I bring that same curiosity and energy into everything I do.

Bather - Scarlett

I started my first job at a grooming salon when I was just 16, and that’s when I knew I’d found the environment I loved. Today, I’m lucky enough to work with animals every day—and I bring that same passion to every appointment. I share my home with two pets of my own: Marshall, my golden retriever, and Tallulah, my tabby cat. When I’m not grooming, you’ll usually find me painting or exploring new hiking spots. I can’t wait to give your fur baby a relaxing, happy spa experience!

Bather - Aubrey

I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I started my journey in the grooming industry at 16, and I’ve now been part of the Sit Stay Spa family for about a year and a half. At home, I share my life with two beautiful cats, Melody and Juniper, along with two adorable rats, Mr. Pickles and Biggie Cheese. I love being creative and spending time with friends, and I try to bring kindness and sincerity into everything I do.

Pup Manager - Todd

Hi, I’m Todd — Manager on Duty

I take my job very seriously… mostly. You’ll know I’m on the clock the moment you walk in because I always announce arrivals with my signature bark. It’s part greeting, part quality control. I’m a friendly guy, but I do have one important responsibility: I must follow Jenna everywhere. It’s my full‑time assignment, and I’m very committed to it. I have been the manager for roughly 12 years now and counting. When I’m not supervising her, I like to take naps during work hours — strategic rest is essential for peak performance — and I’m always available to taste‑test any soft treats that need evaluation. I love getting pets, relaxing in my bed, and making my rounds to ensure all the groomers are doing their best work. As manager on duty, I keep the whole place running smoothly… even if I occasionally snooze on the job.
